In this class, we will go through potential requirements any client can have, which should be identified in their Employers Information Requirements, as well as all accompanying policies, procedures, and standards--not to mention national standards such British Standards (if followed). We will address how to set out your standard for all to follow, then manage and audit along the way.

Gareth Spencer

Gareth Spencer is the CAD & BIM manager at The University of Manchester. He is leading the adoption and management of BIM across a number of capital projects ranging from 12 million up to 320 million. He?s also helping to embed better information management across the estates and facilities to improve how the estate is managed. Gareth is also responsible for the management, upkeep, and distribution of all existing master drawings in a library consisting of thousands of drawings. His background is structural engineering working on various projects in education, retail, health, and public sector at Ramboll as a senior technician/CAD coordinator. Before joining the university, he spent 5 years working for 2 of the UK?s largest Autodesk Platinum resellers, Cadline and Graitec, as an applications specialist and consultant.
