Do you need to share IFC files on your project? If so, this is an essential session for you. We will explore the importance of interoperability from Revit using IFC. Using the IFC Exporter Plugin, we will explore all the hidden settings, controls, and tricks to give you the confidence, and control as to what information appears in the IFC. You will control Rooms, Space, IFC Classes, and Zone. Not all IFC exports are equal.

Kevin Fielding

Kevin studied at Cambridge University, England, and has a master’s degree in architecture. He is now working as BIM lead at Sheppard Robson in Manchester, England. Kevin has over 14 years of hands-on AEC industry experience. He is a Certified Revit Architecture Professional and is experienced using AutoCAD and Navisworks. He has delivered many training courses relating to its use. He is currently a committee member of Manchester Revit User Group, UK North Dynamo User Group (Founder) and North West BIM Region. Kevin focuses on delivering efficiencies throughout the practice through implementation of BIM, better process management, efficient software use, and automation.
