Do you want to use the Autodesk cloud tools, but also need to continue to use your existing desktop tools? Finally there's a cloud solution that acknowledges your need to bridge your current tools with new solutions in the cloud. Come and learn how to bridge your desktop world with the cloud, using a tool that's so simple, you'll think it's magic. Introducing Autodesk Drive software, the virtual file system that connects to the Autodesk cloud.
Mikel Martin has worked in the CAD/ Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) industry in various roles for over 20 years. Take your Forge applications to the next level with the newly introduced Forge Webhooks API. Webhooks are an industry standard mechanism for subscribing to 'event notifications', allowing you to streamline and simplify your Forge workflows and leverage leading integration services such as Jitterbit, Zapier and Mulesoft. In this class we'll show you everything you need to get started with this simple but powerful tool.
This course will focus on the Digital Prototype, this is the critical stage after concept modeling is complete and you are refining a design prior to making a physical model.

We'll explore the entire process- everything from ; Initial curve layout, the main body work , matching exiting geometry- all the way to making revisions after a design review.

Join me in this course and you'll learn how to make high quality digital prototypes and make better faster design and development decisions.

Get ready to Design, Develop & Deploy!
You've taken the step with Fusion 360 software and Fusion Team to put your company on the right path to total team collaboration. However, it's easy to fall into a routine and not get a chance to see what the new features do or how you can incorporate them into your daily workflow. Let us show you the new features and updates: CAD data use from your native file formats, updates to roles, and enhanced team and project administration are just a few of the topics we'll discuss.
Efficient design of products as a team can accelerate your time to market. Fusion 360 software has the tools to help you connect your team, make design iterations fast, and drive decisions that help you deliver better products. In this class, learn how to set up Fusion 360 and Fusion 360 Team for success, including how to set up folders and permissions, libraries, and other basic data-management tips; how to manage product data and mix top-down and bottom-up design methods; how to create a product structure that increases the ability for the design team to parallelize tasks; and how to manage versions and deal with design decisions quickly. Additionally, learn how to prepare designs for review by team members outside the design group, and how to document design decisions. Learn how to deal with disasters, prepare drawings and shared project assets like templates and CAM tool libraries, and prepare data for release to Fusion Lifecycle software, or other release-management tools.
In this class, we'll teach you several ways to easily share your files using tools like AutoCAD software and the cloud. We'll take a close look at the cloud feature Share Design View inside of AutoCAD, and show how you can quickly and easily share files with others for quick collaboration. We'll also take a look at A360 FREE and how you can use it to quickly view and share more than 50 different file types. This is a little-known online viewer with some very powerful features. We'll take a look at A360 Drive and how you can use it for a more permanent form of collaboration with both co-workers and clients. We'll also look at team-based cloud products like BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team). We'll explain the differences between these cloud products, and help you better understand which will work best for you. At the end of this class, you'll have a better understanding of what the different Autodesk cloud products are and when to use them.
Data is spread over different providers, so you often need to around to take advantage of each web service. Using the Forge Data Management API you can access the storage structure, download and upload files from A360 Team, BIM 360 Docs and Fusion Team. And this allows integration with other providers using apps and programming. This class will cover the basics to create your own storage provider integration and show samples with Box, Google Drive and Dropbox.
Fusion 360 software blurs the lines between bodies, parts, and assemblies. Fusion 360 software's structure of the design environment enables unique workflows for both bottom-up and top-down assembly modeling. The timeline and browser play integral roles in the architecture of a design. Learn best practices to adjust assembly structure, reuse components in other designs, and create external references. Come to this session to learn Rule #1 while modeling in Fusion 360.
Are you a Fusion 360 master? Well, come to this session to step up your Fusion 360 skills. No matter what level of expertise you have with Fusion 360 3D CAD/CAM software, you'll leave this session with a few tricks up your sleeve. We'll cover some golden nuggets from every workspace in Fusion 360. Some tricks will help you model faster, a few will improve your computer's performance, and others are just plain cool.
