Description

Description

A hands-on tutorial session to design critical parts using shape optimisation on the cloud within Fusion 360. Attendees will start from the basics of design and learn how starting with basic CAD geometry and applying loads can lead to optimised geometry which is best suited to additive manufacture and 3D printing.

Edward Barlow

Edward is a mechanical engineering student at the University of Warwick and a Fusion 360 catalyst. He has a keen interest in UAV and drone technologies and has done several projects involving them to date. He is very "hands on" and tends to make anything he draws on CAD. Having spent several years at university doing projects specifically with 3D printing, he is very up to speed on the technologies and flaws of different additive manufacture processes. In recent years, he has spent a lot of time focussing on sustainable technologies and is currently working towards integrating this with his other interests.
