Description

Description

As an innovator in improving construction processes, Skanska was an early adopter of BIM 360 Field software (then named Vela). With a decade of experience in BIM 360 Field, the presenters will explore collaboration possibilities beyond issue tracking and checklists. For a client, Skanska has set up BIM 360 Field to track change orders as a replacement for the shared Microsoft Excel file. BIM 360 Field lets a team share information at the same time-and all changes are live and immediate. Using features including the equipment module and creating separate projects, the presenters will demonstrate how you can use BIM 360 Field with safety professionals and superintendent daily reports. Lastly, the proposed presentation will share how to use BIM 360 Field issue tracker when engaging with sustaining contracts, and the differences from a traditional greenfield project.

Target Audience

Target Audience

Managers of large scale projects, general users of BIM360 Field and anyone using excel to track scope, change orders, logs of any kind where they have to share those files with other users.
