Come pose your questions to a panel of industry and Autodesk experts. This panel has done setup and customization for users all over the world, and it is active on the discussion forums. This session will feature AutoCAD Plant 3D software. Due to time constraints, we may not be able to provide solutions to all problems, but we'll record the questions and post solutions on our blog. Carsten Beinecke

Carsten Beinecke has worked in the plant industry for 28 years, starting as a drafter, and becoming a supporter and developer for plant software. As the author of books and training manuals for AutoCAD P&ID software and AutoCAD Plant 3D software, Beinecke has helped numerous customers set up and customize these software systems. He has a very deep understanding of the database structure of AutoCAD P&ID and AutoCAD Plant 3D, and he supports customers around the world. Beinecke is also the product manager of PlantTools apps for AutoCAD P&ID and AutoCAD Plant 3D. He started with the development in 2008.

Quentin Contreras

Quentin joined Autodesk, Inc., in 2012 working as a Frontline Customer Support Specialist. He is currently a Premium Support Specialist working with Enterprise Priority Support where he assists customers with AutoCAD Plant Design software. Quentin has been involved with Autodesk technology for over 25 years (starting with release 10). Prior to joining Autodesk he worked with various companies as a CAD Manager and Designer with focus in the oil and gas industry and ammonia refrigeration. Prior to joining Autodesk he primarily worked using AutoCAD P&ID to develop as-built drafting services for various industries. This required various levels of customization due to following set guidelines set up with each customer he worked with. Quentin is also a contributor to the In the Pipes blog that provides helpful tips and tricks to AutoCAD Plant 3D and P&ID users.

Joel Harris

After studying Mechanical Engineering at Caltech, Joel Harris worked for an AutoCAD third-party developer named Synthesis and also began teaching AutoCAD classes at Bellingham Technical College.From there he started a 23-year career as a piping designer and Plant software developer/administrator for an engineering company in Bellingham, WA. He's the author of Autodesk’s “Introduction to Piping Design with Plant 3D” college curriculum and is part of the Autodesk Enterprise Priority Support team of specialists.

Emile Kfouri

Emile Kfouri is the Director of the Systems Engineering Product group at Autodesk. The team is responsible for software solutions for Plant, Building MEP and Reality Capture customers. Emile has been at Autodesk for over 12 years and has had various management positions in the product development organization. His background is in engineering and he is an experienced leader working at the intersection of business transformation, disruptive technology, and organizational change.
