Learn how to convert a Revit model to a cloud Revit model
Learn how to publish models for the BIM 360 viewer
In this interactive lab, we'll learn how to navigate BIM 360 software and become Collaboration for Revit experts. We'll learn how to create collaborative projects, how to invite project contributors, and how to navigate the model in the cloud. Once we create the model, we'll learn how to publish the model for Live Reviews. We'll also review the cloud and mobile capabilities that BIM 360 Team software provides for expanded engagement from all users. We'll also review unique Collaboration for Revit features such as the Communicator, and we'll practice communicating with the project team within Revit software. In addition, we'll review how to effectively manage project contributors versus team members. Finally, we'll review how to troubleshoot with cloud Revit files by reviewing Journal Files. At the end of the class, you will be the new Collaboration for Revit and BIM 360 expert. You will be able to host Revit models to the cloud for projects, communicate with the project team effectively, and invite the team to your projects.

This class is for anyone who is currently using Building Information Modeling (BIM) or intends to utilize it on large-scale projects in the future. This will be immensely helpful, inspirational, and thought provoking for owners and all stakeholders to make the best utilization of BIM on large-scale projects.
The demanding pace in the design industry for faster collaboration with outside consultants, and the need to provide multiple resources from different office locations, is making it necessary to find quicker and more-efficient solutions to resolve those demands. With 180 Collaboration for Revit licenses in place, McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture has taken its design workflow to a different level. Hear about the company's workflow from the initial Building Information Modeling (BIM) kick-off meeting, to the daily unexpected glitches with Collaboration for Revit-and what is required on each of the firm's projects.
The cloud is already helping thousands of architects, engineers, and contractors with improving communication and quality of designs for taking to site. This session will discuss the BIM 360 portfolio and how it can support you in design through to construction. You will get hands-on with Revit and Collaboration for Revit using BIM 360 Team to communicate with other team members to resolve design issues faster. Use BIM 360 Glue to spell-check your models against other disciplines. You will then investigate how your design can be taken out to site to help with commissioning and progress tracking.
Advances in technology are ushering in a new era where connectivity for builders, designers, and engineers is key. Technology is changing rapidly. Find out in this class how to better embrace these changes to create more value and competitive differentiation by using an evolutionary and remarkable pioneering BIM Cloud Workspace with Autodesk’s BIM 360, Stingray, Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft Azure N-Series, NVIDIA Grid, and RES ONE Workspace. Learn in this class how TBI is featuring a unique, innovative, niche cloud workspace to design, build, make, and create the future of the Netherlands in the belief that it can always be better: more attractive, smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable.
We will present a case study on a Building Information Modeling (BIM) project utilizing Revit software, BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team), and Collaboration for Revit cloud service for work sharing between Arcadis and multiple subconsultants. This project started in January 2016 and was managed by Arcadis as the lead engineering firm for the project, working with Autodesk as a consulting service. Autodesk provided mentoring services to assist with the adoption of Collaboration for Revit. In the class, we'll share project success criteria, and setup in Collaboration for Revit and BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team. We'll also share our best practices and workflow, troubleshooting, and lessons learned. Julie Nicholson and Michael Avanzini from Arcadis will be presenting, along with Autodesk team members Adam Peter and Ed Hannabas,
With engineering changing rapidly and the development of additive manufacturing methods, designers and engineers are starting to push the boundaries of what is possible when designing and manufacturing components. Additive manufacturing has come on leaps and bounds over the last 5 years, with 3D printers now accessible to everyone at very low cost. More and more people are starting to turn their own ideas into reality. Using Fusion 360 and a desktop 3D printer we can now take art to part. In this half-day workshop, you will design and build a Fusion logo keyring. You will be walked through different modelling techniques within Fusion 360 that will allow you to explore and develop the design with the next generation of engineering tools. Technologies such as parametric design, T spline technology, and direct modelling will showcase the power of Fusion 360 and how quick it is to build complex parts.<br />
You've taken the step with Fusion 360 software and Fusion Team to put your company on the right path to total team collaboration. However, it's easy to fall into a routine and not get a chance to see what the new features do or how you can incorporate them into your daily workflow. Let us show you the new features and updates: CAD data use from your native file formats, updates to roles, and enhanced team and project administration are just a few of the topics we'll discuss.
Data is spread over different providers, so you often need to around to take advantage of each web service. Using the Forge Data Management API you can access the storage structure, download and upload files from A360 Team, BIM 360 Docs and Fusion Team. And this allows integration with other providers using apps and programming. This class will cover the basics to create your own storage provider integration and show samples with Box, Google Drive and Dropbox.
The class will introduce Advanced Oncotherapy and its complex proton therapy solution product. It will then explain how all the master data associated with this, as well as the majority of the business management processes, have been realised in a highly integrated and fully-customised implementation of Fusion Lifecycle which is closely linked to the company's ERP system with which data is shared on a real-time basis. This integration of business processes is designed to meet the requirements of the demanding ISO13485 standard for medical device regulatory requirements.
In this Instructional Demonstration, we will teach you how to upload, view, and collaborate with data in the Autodesk cloud. But getting data into the cloud is only part of the story; you’re going to want to do something with it. We will do all of this through a brand-new cohesive and fluid experience that you have to see! This session features Fusion Team (formerly A360) and also PLM 360 (now Fusion Lifecycle).
The A360 environments provide the platform for a knowledge and team repository that can support the needs of a broad organization. Autodesk Consulting has transitioned to this platform for core data management and sharing activities. There are many advantages this platform has provided to our worldwide team-in particular, the ability to collaborate with multiple customers and partners in a secure environment. In this presentation, you will learn how to position the platform for success, how process management can be a key to improved activity, and how the environment can become an integral part of organizational success-as well as strategies for rollout and adoption,
This class will illustrate the use of Autodesk products such as Revit software, BIM 360 Glue software, BIM 360 Field software, and BIM 360 Team . It will also cover how projects are successfully used to collect asset data in design through construction. It will demonstrate the importance of a Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow, starting with a BIM Execution Plan through project submittal BIM reviews to keep consultants on track and get the correct required owner data. It will also show quick Dynamo scripts used to perform BIM reviews and BIM model cleanup for the facility models. This class will feature a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Asset Management BIM Program for the Denver International Airport.
