In this class, you will learn how to better approach the decommissioning of Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects using the Delim process. Delim enables facility/asset owners and managers to reduce the uncertainty associated with cost, timing, and the management of hazardous materials and environmental issues when demolishing or renovating a building, facility, or network of infrastructure. The process combines proven desktop/cloud/mobile technologies from Autodesk, Inc., to efficiently and accurately scan existing infrastructure into BIM workflows. This provides facility/asset owners with the information needed to make decisions relating to maintenance, design, and/or demolition with a proven path into remediation. Delim provides an information governance framework that ensures decision makers and stakeholders have the information they need, when they need it, so they can make the most informed decisions based on the best-quality data derived in a cost-effective way. This session features BIM 360 Field, Navisworks Manage, and Revit. AIA Approved

Paul Baker

Paul Baker is the chairman of the Global CADD Executive Committee at Golder Associates, deploying Global CADD standards/delivery system to over 900 users in 160 countries. Baker has been involved in the beta testing of multiple software platforms and the creation of add-on applications for them. He is certified in AutoCAD software and AutoCAD Civil 3D software, in addition to being accredited as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) manager. In the past 12-plus months, Baker has worked closely with a client to develop the delim process.

Denis Cutter

Denis Cutter has been kicking around the Autodesk world for over 15 years. He started with AutoCAD 2000 and was an early Architectural Desktop adopter while working with a local builder in Anchorage Alaska. He took a small break from industry and worked for an Autodesk reseller supporting governmental organizations for four years. During this time his focus transitioned to Civil design.He currently works for Golder Associates in Redmond Washington as a BIM/CADD Manager and Senior Civil Designer. Denis is an Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI) and a Certified Civil 3D Professional.

Results-driven professional with over 20 years in the environmental & GeoTechnical engineering fields. Extensive experience leading people and project teams, implementing and overseeing technology programs, and administering large budgets. From draftsman to manager, consultant to associate, artist to trainer, I have worked with almost all of our services, with terrific people on great projects. I am looking forward with great enthusiasm to the years ahead as I bring my best effort every day. What is next for me at Golder? Training to provide BIM services as a technician and a consultant.I have been the CAD Manager in the Golder Associates Calgary office. My responsibilities included hiring, training and managing an innovative and efficient CAD team to support consulting operations. The team includes 20 draftsmen working on projects including the following disciplines: Air/Noise; Fisheries; Energy Services; Mining; Environmental H&S; Contaminated Sites; Hydrogeology; Surface Water; Water Quality and Environmental Assessment.As group manager, I coordinated workloads, deadlines and budgets while ensuring staff are producing high quality products. I have been working on AutoCAD software since 1992 and have experience in the surveying, architecture, land development, engineering and mapping fields.I am an AutoCAD Certified Professional and part of Golder's Global CADD Executive Committee.

Keith White

Keith White is an experienced architect and software developer with over 20 years of experience in building design and construction, and a passion for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the use of software within the industry. Currently, White is a technical consultant with Autodesk Consulting, developing solutions for customers in Revit software and the Forge Platform. Prior to joining Autodesk, Inc., White developed custom solutions for the precast concrete industry in Revit software. He was also a partner in an architecture firm, where he worked for 12 years on numerous architectural projects and project types in addition to his roles in CAD/BIM/IT management, training, and the leading of firm-wide adoption of technology strategies. In addition to his architecture, engineering, and construction industry experiences, White has also developed and taught classes for AutoCAD software and Revit software for the University of West Florida.
