With Autodesk, Inc., solutions, designers and engineers can use virtual models to explore, review, and fine-tune design variations. This talk will cover advanced visualization and design review workflows, including immersive virtual reality design review using head-mounted displays and tracking technologies with VRED Professional software; large-screen powerwall review using high-performance VRED ray-tracing clusters; and collaborative web/mobile design review solutions based on VRED Server.

Merten Stroetzel

Merten Stroetzel received his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Technical University of Munich in Germany, and he is now principal solutions manager for automotive visualization at Autodesk, Inc. In the past he has spoken at public events like the Automotive Innovation Forum and IMPRESS3D about Automotive Visualization Solutions. Merten currently works with a team of visualization experts on several customer-consulting engagements, primarily VRED software-based solutions in the design space. His 10-plus years of media-entertainment-technology consulting expertise supports the visualization solutions development for the challenges faced today by our automotive and manufacturing clients.
