Description

The course will cover the creation of a Construction Project utilizing as many Autodesk products as possible. We will start with InfraWorks 360 to demonstrate on the site selection, then utilize Map3D, Civil3D and Vehicle Tracking to build the infrastructure of the site. In parallel, we will demonstrate the use of Dynamo, Formit and Revit to build the Buildings and Structure of the site, and Plant3D, with Advance Steel to build the rest of the Plant. Also demonstrated will be Navisworks, BIM360 Glue and BIM360 Field to show a complete workflow of a project from initial concept phase to final project delivery and commissioning.

Tomislav Golubovic

Tomislav has been working for Autodesk for over 4.5 years and has a lot of industry knowledge, from working as a Civil Designer, Structural, Electrical, Telco, MEP, and as a Plant designer. Also armed with knowledge as a CAD Administrator, TG has worked with customers over the years to provide best practices for their projects, and to 'think outside the box' when trying to solve solutions for customers problems. TG has taught at internal training sessions at Autodesk and been a early adopter of software where related to his field of expertise in Plant3D, Advance Steel and InfraWorks.

Samuel Macalister

Samuel Macalister received his bachelor’s of architecture degree from University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2001 and is now based in Sydney as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) technical specialist for Autodesk, Inc., Australia. From 2002 to 2011 Samuel worked in London, England, for international architecture firms, including Robert, Matthew, Johnson, Marshall (RMJM); HOK; and BDP. In those firms he focused on educational and healthcare projects using AutoCAD Architecture software and Revit software. In addition to technical presales and Autodesk events, he also teaches digital design construction classes at the University of Technology, Sydney, construction school. Samuel evangelizes the core BIM platforms, and he also specializes in Autodesk’s visualization offerings, covering workflows on Showcase software, 3ds Max software, A360 cloud rendering, and InfraWorks 360 software.

Andrew Milford

Andrew Milford is a civil infrastructure technical specialist for Autodesk, Inc., and is responsible for the adoption of Autodesk’s Infrastructure Solutions across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Autodesk, Andrew gained over 20 years of design experience in the civil infrastructure industry, working as a geometric road designer for large consulting companies such as SKM/Jacobs Engineering Group, Hyder Consulting, and AECOM (Maunsell). Andrew’s experience extends from designing large highways, tunnels, and interchanges down to smaller subdivision work using a variety of different design and drafting software packages. He is an AutoCAD Civil 3D Certified Professional; loves diving deep into AutoCAD Civil 3D software to develop and automate processes through scripts, AutoLISP dialect, and the .NET API (C# and VB); and currently contributes to the AutoCAD Civil 3D blog From the Ground Up.
