Jonathan Sabutis

Jonathan is an industrial designer with a deep curiosity about the world and an enthusiasm for making things that help people. He started his career developing aftermarket parts for BMW motorcycles and later worked alongside acclaimed NYC-based designer Harry Allen on a wide variety of successful furniture, lighting, merchandising, and consumer products. Jonathan also gets a thrill out of designing products of his own, eventually starting a company called Reductivist, a product and lifestyle brand, after successfully kickstarting an ultra-compact bike tool. “Ringtool” is now sold in many countries around the world. Most recently, Jonathan has felt called to act on his long-time passion for social justice by focusing on work in global development with Catapult Design. In his spare time Jonathan enjoys home-roasting his own coffee, exploring on his skateboard, and practicing zen meditation. Jonathan holds a BFA in Industrial Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
