There are numerous ways to become more accurate and more productive when using AutoCAD LT software and AutoCAD software-based applications. Speak to AutoCAD software users and they will have their own shortcuts for getting the job done. The tools, tips, and tricks presented in this session are just a sample of what’s available. Some of what’s presented is Windows functionality for working with AutoCAD software, while many are AutoCAD software’s “old school” and “new school” proven favorites.

Volker Cocco

Employed at Autodesk, Inc., as a technical support specialist, Volker Cocco has been working with AutoCAD software since 1991 (that's R10 in CAD speak). He’s been working for various Autodesk Resellers since 1997, and he has had extensive experience troubleshooting and supporting Autodesk products. In addition to having a background in CAD drafting and management, Volker has instructed basic to advanced AutoCAD technical classes, including sessions at Autodesk User Group International (AUGI) CAD Camp and Autodesk University. Additionally, Volker is host of the "Build your AutoCAD IQ" webinars presented by Autodesk technical Support.

Stephen Bessette

Stephen Bessette is a Technical Sales Specialist for Autodesk, Inc., providing technical support for Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk AutoCAD Verticals, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Advance Steel software. He is a graduate of the NHTI Architectural Engineering Technology program as well as a certified computer-aided draftsman. Stephen has over 15 years of experience within the design and construction industry, including fire protection design, residential design, construction management and estimating, land surveying, quality control of construction materials, and structural steel inspection. In addition, Stephen has instructed technical classes for AutoCAD software and its 3D functionalities at NHTI in Concord, NH.
