After creating base views and projected views from 3D solid or surface models, we'll explore sectional views. Using 3D models, we'll create full, half, offset, and aligned sectional drawing views. We'll also create circular and rectangular detail views. We will apply editing techniques of the 3D models to then update the derived drawing views. We will also explore Undocumented Auxiliary View features from 3D models. Exporting the 2D sectional drawing views into model space using the EXPORTLAYOUT command will give us true size and shape geometry to edit and annotate as needed.
