Description

Description

Over the last decade Building Information Modeling (BIM) has become an integral part of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing industry, and it is now becoming the most common method of designing buildings. This course looks at the best practices of Revit software design for a team/company environment. We will explore strategies, including the design stages of a project and how to align your team's efforts to most effectively approach the task at hand. We will also look at techniques to enhance your design capabilities, including how to effectively create families and view templates to represent essential information while not overcomplicating your model. We will also discuss how to design and coordinate building systems between project teams. Finally, we will look at trends in Revit software and BIM and discuss how they will change the architecture/engineering industry. Through this you will gain market insight into how to effectively convey the benefits of using BIM design to clients and contractors, and you'll learn how to set your company up for future success.
