Dr. Robb Johnson has over 15 years of experience in semiconductor process development and the management of semiconductor manufacturers covering a wide range of process technologies including InP HBT, GaAs pHEMT, SiGe and CMOS. As Inphi's Director of Technology, he is responsible for new supplier and process selection, and yield improvement and serves as the primary contact to Inphi's semiconductor suppliers. This course will enable you to access the more advanced settings in Autodesk PLM 360 software so you can take your tenant to a higher level of functionality. We will dive into the more advanced workspace settings, including calculated fields, workflow escalations, and filtered picklists. Through firsthand experience, and with no knowledge of coding necessary, you will learn to create and modify scripts in order to define custom behaviors in the PLM, such as validating data and controlling workflow paths. We will then use these scripts to create customized HTML notifications. Finally, we will demonstrate how to create and edit advanced print views in order to create custom forms and templates. This class will look at a new feature in Autodesk PLM 360 software: Classification. We will review a production use of the feature in the Electrical Components International (ECI) tenant, and we will perform a small demo that will show the potential use of the power of Classification in Autodesk PLM 360 software.
This class is designed to walk through some advanced use cases for Autodesk PLM 360 software to demonstrate how to flex the software's true muscles. We will link virtual reality (PLM) to actuality (physical prototypes) by exploring the use of QR (quick response) codes generated within Autodesk PLM 360 software. Using a mobile device, we can then link physical prototypes to their electronic test data and discuss extensions of this concept to track, and perform maintenance on, equipment on the shop floor. We will also demonstrate the use of iframes to bring external data into your Autodesk PLM 360 records and save you some mouse clicks. This can include other data from Autodesk PLM 360 software or external sources, such as tracking the status of shipments from your local logistics company.
