Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) will discuss implementation strategies of AutoCAD Utility Design 2014 software, from gas design to asset realization. Topics that CSU will cover include: AutoCAD Utility Design software's gas configuration when an out-of-the-box template does not exist; uniform process through key functions; data flow; and incorporation into upstream and downstream workflow to produce reliable enterprise engineering designs.

Thomas J. Whitehouse

Thomas Whitehouse is an IT project manager at Colorado Springs Utilities, and he has supported, developed, and managed the electric and gas system extension systems, geographic information system (GIS) products, field inventory system and integration with GIS, computerized maintenance management systems, and billing and financial systems. He holds a master's degree in GIS from the University at Buffalo and a master's degree in geography with engineering from Kansas State University. Most of his 20-year career has focused on utilities mapping and engineering systems, as well as integration with enterprise systems in the public and private utilities.
