In this class you will learn how AutoCAD P&ID software and AutoCAD Plant 3D software work with their databases, what databases exist in AutoCAD P&ID software and AutoCAD Plant 3D software, and what is stored in them. We will cover the tables and views that exist and what these tables and views contain. Along with the existing views, you will see how the databases that you can use with a tool like PlantLink have the potential to speed up your creation of a piping and instrumentation diagram. You will learn how to become faster and create fewer errors. We will create several customer examples with varying degrees of complexity.

Carsten Beinecke worked in the plant industry for 25 years, starting as a drafter and becoming a supporter and developer for plant software. In 2008 Carsten started as a product manager to develop the PlantTools apps for AutoCAD P&ID software and AutoCAD Plant 3D software.
