Return on investment on the AutoCAD platform is all about saving picks and clicks, and this class is all about exposing the super-secret tools in the AutoCAD platform. The biggest issue is that you don't know what you are missing from release to release unless someone exposes these little secrets. In this class, we provide a one-stop-shopping document to help you remember all of them and refer back to them. Updated from last year, this class includes new tools and uncovers AutoCAD 2014 secrets. Your repetitive steps and tasks won't know what hit them.
Industry professionals who have beginner to intermediate experience on the AutoCAD platform,
and those who use the AutoCAD platform and want to increase their productivity and leave repetitive steps and tasks in the dust

This intermediate-to-advanced hands-on lab offers 3D AutoCAD software veterans as well as AutoCAD 2D users a chance to explore 3D solid and surface modeling techniques for creating compelling composite 3D solid and surfaced part models in AutoCAD 2014. Tools for creating 3D solids with surfaces will accelerate your design workflow. Learn new techniques that will supersede your old-school techniques and develop a new level of understanding for creating and editing 3D models. In this lab, we explore solid and surface extrudes, sweeps, lofts, and revolves. We also explore creating procedural, networked, blended, patched, and trimmed surfaces using surface slicing workflows. If you used AutoCAD 3D in the past, attend this class and get ready to be surprised!
After passing the more than 11 million registered users mark, AutoCAD 360 (formerly AutoCAD® WS) continues to revolutionize the industry. AutoCAD 360 provides users with a powerful collaboration platform on both web and mobile to design, edit, and share their drawings anytime, anywhere. See how you can keep all your team in sync with the latest copy of a drawing using AutoCAD 360, and every change made by each teammate is immediately synchronized with all other team members. Take advantage of the design feed on desktop, web, and mobile to communicate and track issues between the site and the office. Capitalize on all that web and mobile has to offer including geolocation, camera, real-time collaboration, and more. Want to get more out of AutoCAD 360? Come and check out our AutoCAD 360 Pro plans. Earlier this year, the AutoCAD Exchange Discussion Group on LinkedIn had a running commentary on people's favorite method of launching commands, and it all comes down to personal preference. So in this lab, you get to create a custom panel on the Ribbon to hold your favorites, and also see how to add the same commands to the Quick Access Toolbar. As some of you know, I'm a Tool Palette junkie, so I'll show you how a button on the Tool Palette may result in a better approach. For the keyboarders, I'll show you how to create a one-line AutoLISP® program, and how to edit the ACAD.PGP file for aliases. But what about those rollover tips and the content of Quick Properties? We check that out too. In addition to spending some quality time in the Customize User Interface (CUI), I share gold star tips along the way, all of which I hope will result in a more efficient and productive daily AutoCAD experience.
