Andrew Taylor

Andrew Taylor is a builder, entrepreneur and a maker advocate. In spite of his full time gig at a software company, his hands are usually bandaged, and his fingernails are always a little bit dirty. He's rebuilds motorcycles on a dare, runs a business making teddy bears and does his laundry with 3D printing. As Community Manager for Autodesk's 123D line of design apps, as well as Tinkercad, he tries to convey the potential of matching new technologies with elbow grease and horse-sense to create innovative solutions to everyday problems that exist in the real world. His approach comes from a history of building and making - from restoring antique furniture and building houses to laser-cutting felt doilies.
