Description

Working in a CAD environment has turned our industry into individual islands of disconnected interoperability for each discipline. When working in a Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment, teams are reintroduced, promoting a collaborative workflow. However, this requires a great deal of trust between consultants and their deliverables. Setting up the model, preparing a plan for the project at the initial state, and defining guidelines for the project workflow will ease tension, improve communication, and encourage a multidiscipline alliance.

Adrianna Schneider is a solutions engineer with Advanced Solutions. A dedicated technical expert with more than 10 years of experience in using Autodesk® software, and five years experience with the Revit® platform—Adrianna has spent the past five years improving business practices in the AEC community with company-specific implementation strategies. Recently, Adrianna has spent time exploring the individual capabilities of Autodesk® analysis software, and how they operate with the Revit workflow. Adrianna has a degree in architectural engineering, with specialties in structural and environmental design from Milwaukee School of Engineering. She is LEED® AP certified, an Autodesk certified instructor, an Autodesk Revit Structure certified implementation expert, an Autodesk MEP certified implementation expert, and has Autodesk specializations in Building Engineering MEP Systems and Consulting.
