Description

Description

In this class, we will discuss what a solution is (a set of Autodesk PLM 360 workspaces that work together to help manage and store business information) in terms of the premade workspaces that are offered in all new PLM 360 tenants. Then we will discuss how PLM 360 is "insanely configurable," through the configuration tools offered with workspace setup, including workspaces, workspace features, custom properties, fields, validations, pick lists, relationships, lifecycles and revision control, workflows, print views, reports, imports, and users, groups, roles, and permissions. After walking through the UI configuration tools, we will explore the basics of PLM 360 scripting. This section will cover the 4 script types—condition, validation, action, and library—along with the available events to run PLM 360 scripts. To end the scripting section, we will discuss some high-level scripting solution examples.
