Carry 1000 lb. of project information with you in the palm of your hand! Would you like to see your superintendents, project managers, architects, engineers, or inspectors be mobile with all the drawings, specs, intelligent models, and other project information at their fingertips? Are you searching for ways to reduce printing costs and be more sustainable? In this class, you will learn strategies to do just that. We will cover the basics of using Autodesk® Constructware®, Autodesk® Buzzsaw®, and WebDAV servers to synchronize project information clouds (PIC) to mobile devices using low-cost Apple® iPad® apps. You will learn the basics of setting up a cloud-based system, enabling your project team to take project information with them to the field, where it matters most, even where there is no Internet coverage.
General contractors; architecture, engineering, and construction professionals; engineers and owners who want mobile access to a project; and anyone who wants to consolidate project information so it is easily accessible and usable where and when it is most needed

Tablets and smartphones have made it possible to carry an infinite amount of project data in the palm of your hand. In this class, we will demonstrate several workflows and strategies for getting project data into the field. We will explore how this can be done on Apple® iPads®, Android™ tablets, and Microsoft® Windows®-based devices. We will show how project managers, inspectors, and surveyors can access information when they need it the most—in the field—even without an Internet connection.
