Description

Description

Setting up shared coordinate systems and shared sites can be a bit of a mystery for those of us who have been in the AutoCAD® software world with its open World Coordinate System and User Coordinate System. Autodesk Revit has tools for working with campus sites and sharing our projects with others, but some understanding of these tools is crucial before we start clipping and unclipping and moving these points around. We need a deeper understanding of not just what these tools are in Revit, but also why the tools are used for us to link and exchange files confidently with the rest of the project team.

Target Audience

Target Audience

End User, Architects, engineers, or technicians who find the internal coordinate system in Revit challenging to understand or difficult to use when faced with setting up a site or sharing models with other firms
