In this class, we will explore ways of integrating sustainability into design curricula, highlight several successful classroom and design studio examples, and outline the innovative approaches they use. We will share best practices and lessons learned from these experiences, discuss practical concerns and logistics, and encourage creative thinking about how to create an inspired and actionable plan for incorporating new sustainable design learning strategies into your own courses. We will also learn about the Autodesk Green Building Certificate program—an online learning path for green building software tools that is underpinned by building science fundamentals and that builds on the resources in the Autodesk Sustainability Workshop.
