Computer graphics artists lack training to read engineering plans and civil engineers are too intimidated by the subjective nature of visualization work. In the middle of this divide are landscape architects and urban planners who understand that selling ideas to clients requires both the Truth (engineering) and the Beauty (visualization) of design. This class outlines an NCS-based workflow for landscape architects and planners to step away from traditional software tools and use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk® 3ds Max® software to create beautiful graphics faster and more efficiently. Special focus is given to horticulture design in both conceptual and construction document design phases.

Robert graduated from North Carolina State University with Bachelor in Landscape Architecture. Currently, he lives and works in China for HZS, a multinational planning-engineering company, as the CAD and BIM manager and urban planner with focus in visualization of civil engineering data.
