He manages an install base of over 110 seats of Product Design Suite software and Vault Professional software. Currently he acts as product owner for Autodesk PLM 360, developing his company's backlog for Autodesk PLM 360 features. He draws from his deep knowledge of Autodesk, Inc., mechanical design tools to provide practical solutions for engineering workflow requirements.
Carter Mast is software engineer at Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. (GTI), a Boeing Business Jet completion center that provides turnkey interior completions for private individuals and heads of state. He has been with GTI for over 2 years working on custom applications, integration, and enhancement of commercial software solutions, and delivering business intelligence through powerful software systems. Carter has capitalized on various Autodesk, Inc., product APIs—including Inventor software, Vault software, and Autodesk PLM 360 software’s spin on the REST API—to increase engineering efficiency and reduce errors associated with repetitive or tedious tasks. Prior to joining GTI he obtained his PhD from the University of Washington. His researched focused on non-linear constitutive models and improvements to various numerical methods used in engineering analysis. He is passionate about software development, machine learning, and predictive analytics, and he loves to teach others.

Through firsthand experience you will learn to create an automated smart-part numbering system and automated part descriptions. We will then use the Autodesk PLM 360 software BOM functionality to add parts from a part catalog structured using classification. Finally we will demonstrate how to approach importing or migrating data into Autodesk PLM 360 software classification structures. In this class we will cover the basics of integration using Autodesk PLM 360 Connect software. We will provide a review of the Autodesk PLM 360 Connect toolset and an overview of the Autodesk PLM 360 software API. To review these topics we will create a basic integration between Autodesk PLM 360 software and NetSuite, Inc., to manage NetSuite suppliers from within Autodesk PLM 360 software. Supplier management is easy using the workflow in Autodesk PLM 360 software. During the class we will build a connector to create and manage suppliers in NetSuite.
