Here is an easy way to send all the Autodesk® Inventor® .IDW or .DWF files from Autodesk® Vault to your local workspace.

Select the model file of interest. In this case, I have selected my top-level assembly.

From the File menu, choose Pack and Go.

Vault will retrieve all of the related files.

Use the Settings menu to configure your result.

The Visualization Filter enables you to include or exclude the associated .DWF files. This is an excellent way to gather all project-related .DWF files to send to a client.

Choose your Workspace for the file location. Vault will place the latest copy in the proper folders.

Note: When using “Get Latest,” the files are copied, not “Checked Out.”
