Educator Summit

Monday, November 26, 8:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.

This year, we've designed a special 1-day Educator Summit, exclusively for secondary and post-secondary educators just ahead of the AU 2012 conference. This event is for educators and is free when you register for AU.

ED4602: Learning (and Teaching) in the Digital Age

Monday, November 26, 9:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m.

Listen to change agents talk about learning and teaching in the digital world at the Educator Summit keynote session. Each of our speakers brings different backgrounds and experiences to this session, but every one of them will challenge your perceptions and instill optimism for the future of education. Join us immediately after these presentations for a panel Q&A with all keynote speakers.

This year's presentations include:

Sugata Mitra is a Professor of Educational Technology at the School of Education, Communication, and Language Sciences, Newcastle University, UK. Prof. Mitra works in the areas of Cognitive Science, Information Science and Educational Technology. Learn more about his work in this TEDTalk.

The Educator Summit has specific tracks across various fields of study for secondary and postsecondary educators. These classes feature best practices in the use of technology in the classroom for engaging and inspiring today’s students.

Even though these are featured on a single day, you must register for each individual class so you don’t miss out on any session. Choose classes from a single track or mix and match.
