Attendees who currently have experience with VBA and want to learn how to transition to VB.NET programming and the AutoCAD .NET API

Class Description

With the release of AutoCAD® 2010, Autodesk has started making the move away from VBA and towards .NET. This class explores taking an existing VBA project and migrating it to VB.NET. You will learn how to take your existing code and rewrite it to use COM interop so it can be compiled and loaded as a .NET DLL assembly. You will also learn some of the fundamentals of VB.NET and the AutoCAD .NET API. This is a beginner-level class for VB.NET and the AutoCAD .NET API, but you will be expected to know VBA and the AutoCAD ActiveX® Automation API.
