Class Description

So you've started using AutoLISP/Visual LISP® but now you want to gain more functionality and build more elegant routines? This class will get you there. In this class we'll discuss working with selection sets, set filtering, entity modification, user input qualification, error handlers, and system variable manipulation to create truly powerful routines. Along the way, you'll learn valuable tips to help you debug your code fast. The class will be conducted in the context of actual programs using a "pseudo code" so you'll know what's happening and why the programming statements look the way they do. If you've wanted to build your AutoLISP skills but haven't been able to tackle the more advanced topics, this class is a must!

Prerequisites: To attend this class you should have attended "The AutoLISP Crash Course" or have a working knowledge of AutoLISP's ACADDOC.LSP autoloading behavior as well as COMMAND, DEFUN, GETVAR, REDEFINE, SETVAR, SETQ and UNDEFINE functions.

Am I the first one to notice that the screencast download is corrupt and consists of the "Crash Course (part 1)" video? Any chance this could be remedied at this late date? 07-26-2009 3:17PM

False alarm. Whoops, different computer... different results. I guess that's why that one is retired! The download worked perfectly and the file was as advertised. Thanks for all your great infotainment at AU (and out of AU) this year! 07-26-2009 3:29PM
