Industrial designers/mechanical engineers involved in product design/development workspace
Class Description
We will take a compressed look at the Industrial/Mechanical Design workflow as it relates to consumer product design. Starting with high-level conceptual product definition, we will move to referenced full-scale sketching in Autodesk® SketchBook® Pro and Autodesk® AliasStudio™; 2D painting and technical surfacing in AliasStudio; interoperability with Autodesk Inventor® Professional; Electro-Mechanical Packaging; and finally, visualization and product validation with Autodesk®Showcase™.
This will be a great opportunity for anyone involved in this type of design to see a live example of how these tools can be used together to shorten design cycles, and more importantly, to deliver high quality products to their customers.
