It would have been interesting had you went into some top-down design methodologies, but there were other classes for that it appears. Good tips for increasing performance in Inventor though! 07-14-2009 1:17AM

Hi Dan, Where can I find the tool bar to create a substitute file for the large assembly? Thank you. 03-11-2009 2:14PM

Maverick. THis feature is only available in 2009 so make sure you are using release 2009. Then right click to create a new Level of Detail representation and select the option to create new substitute. Let me know if this works or not. What version of Inventor are you using? 03-11-2009 4:16PM

Hallo, when was the programm "shrinkwrap" run on vista 64-bit? 02-16-2009 7:44AM

  • Reply Dan Miles replied...
The labs shrinkwrap application add-on for 2009 only supports Inventor 32-bit. THe next version will support 64 and 32 bit versions. Very soon

well, I use import/export command in the Applications Options with 3 types of settings that I have made before :large_assemblies.xml, medium_assemblies.xml and small_assemblies.xml. That helps me decreasing time for changing all the settings everytime. 02-05-2009 8:51AM
